About Callpage

Founded in 2015 by Ross Knap, Sergey Butko, and Andrew Tkachiv, CallPage is currently the biggest international provider of automatic callback solution in the world. CallPage’s widget increases sales with over 75% by facilitating call conversation between a company and their website visitors. The widget provides the website visitor a real-time callback within an estimated 28 seconds. Moreover, the widget also analyzes customer’s behavioral data to optimize the seller’s potential to make a sale. CallPage also presents sociological insight and analytics about users. That unifies creative marketing and rigorous statistics for the best chance of success.

Preparation for the US Launch

The company’s mission is to tokenize customer support and sales industry and to create a transformation in terms of corporations and their outsourced call operators. Currently, the company’s plan is to disrupt the global call center market that is now worth 300 billion dollars.

Most notably, phone support and sales services are ones of the most dynamically growing segments in the business world. Experts indicate that the market will be worth about 407 billion dollars by 2022.

For instance, more than 30 million people around the world are currently working in call centers. When the company was working on its US expansion plans, their main aim is to offer a comprehensive search solution. The company will strive to offer the ability to conclude contracts between the customer and independent call operators. Furthermore, they want to give US-based companies a platform for training and monitoring the performance of executors.

In the company expansion plan, the main goal is to increase the number of widgets installed by the US market. The company aims to get market proof in particular markets such as USA, UK, Australia, and Ireland. Coincidentally, the company’s product is spreading virally especially in the US market. The main channel for acquiring customers is the transition to the page from the “Powered by CallPage” links. The links are located on each widget installed by the client. While preparing for the US expansion, the company aims to have people buy, install and start using CallPage widgets actively. Consequently, the CallPage have gone out of their way to organize two educational webinars held during the campaign specifically AppSumo users. The company also prepared short educational videos that were available on the application panel immediately after registration and installation.

Obtaining More Customers

Company’s number of customers has grown from 1,100 in early 2017 to more than 3000. The US expansion will help the company to gain more clients in the US market. Now, big companies around the world are using the CallPage widget including UPC, Medicover, Coral Travel, and Virgin, CallPage. The widget has helped these and many other commercial sites convert page views into inbound sales calls through an immediate callback to the real phone numbers. For this reason, more people from the US market will obtain the CallPage widget.

CallPage believes that unifying human conversation and technology has changed the world of sales. That makes the company want to facilitate more conversations between sellers and potential buyers. Presently, the company has served close to two million customers, with 800,000 of them being the EU citizens. According to Tkachiv, the startup is currently striving to integrate machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms to the CallPage Widget. As a result, CallPage confirms that integration will allow analyzing hundreds of thousands of conversations. That will show the company gains more customers, especially within the US market where the expansion is aimed.

At present, the company has over 3,000 companies from around the world are using the system. The number of CallPage users is already over 2 million people and more are still registering. The company is planning dynamic growth on foreign markets through the US expansion plan. The company will primarily focus on the US market to increase its number with over 10 times in the next two years.

Financing the US Expansion

By July last year, CallPage had attracted 17 million zloty (roughly $4.5 million) for their market expansion plans from several venture funds. The venture capital financing the expansion plans includes Innovation Nest, Market One Capital, and TDJ Pitango Ventures.

The company will use a larger fraction of these funds to propel the business in the US market. Knap confirmed that the company can create a product on the Polish market and then sell it globally. For instance, the CallPage Widget will cost five times less than local competitors’ offers in California.

In 2017, CallPage raised 1 million Euros from Polish venture fund BValue. In 2016, the company had acquired $500,000 from BValue and a few individual investors under undisclosed terms. At an earlier stage, the startup had raised a $50,000 round from Polish fund AIP Seed Capital. Further, there was €30,000 in funding as a participant in Estonian accelerator Startup Wise Guys.

With all these investment funds, CallPage will continue the realization of its development plan. CallPage aims to change into a product more from the perspective of “All your company calls in one place”. The Research & Development department in CallPage has already started working on using machine learning and AI. That will allow analyzing of hundreds of thousands of calls through the CallPage system on sale in the US market.
