Find Your Story takes place with our very own media expert Kevin Turley who will guide you through a deep dive into your business and brainstorm creative ideas and plans.

What is it? Find Your Story is a two-hour consultation with our own media expert Kevin Turley that will put you on the path to developing your unique business story for your marketing.
How Does It Work? The consultation takes place via telephone or Skype. (We recommend Skype so you can record the call).
Where Does it Take Place? – Anywhere you have good access to a phone or internet connection for Skype!
How Will Find Your Story Help Me? – US audiences are unique. Creating incredible business stories that speak effectively to them as a European can be tricky. This consultation will be an in-depth chance to nail down your business narrative and understand how you can communicate it effectively to your new audience as you grow your marketing activities Stateside.

Before we speak on the phone, we’ll ask you to give us a few details about your business, your plans for your US expansion and any current marketing materials you think will be helpful for us to look at.
We’ll also ask you to fill in a short focus sheet to help you answer some key questions about your business that will help shape the narrative you want to tell.
Kevin will then give you a call via telephone or Skype and spend two hours with you consulting on how to develop your unique business story. He’ll make suggestions, listen to feedback and work with you to make the session a deep dive into how to find and develop your story.
One of the great things about this session is that it’s easy and convenient and, though you might wonder, in two hours with an expert producer and storyteller – you can achieve an awful lot!
The consultation will be conversational, like a friendly chat, but it will also be a forensic look at what it is you want to say. We’ll help you to clarify this message – and then discuss how to put it across in a way you didn’t think was possible.
You see, most entrepreneurs try and separate themselves from their business persona. But, you’ve probably already discovered that this is not really possible. Your business is part of your identity – it forms who you are. You conceived of your current commercial entity. First in your mind, then on the page, and then those first tentative real-life steps to making it real. Do you remember? And here you are today – expanding your business to the US – doing it, living it, loving it.
During your Find Your Story session, we’ll help you unearth this magic, and really dig into your journey – personal and professional, because they are one and the same.
During & After Your Call – Advice
We highly recommend using Skype for the call. It’s easy to record Skype conversations and we suggest you use this function so that you can give 100% focus to the call without worrying about scribbling notes.
By recording the call you can let yourself relax into the conversation and see how it takes you in new directions – then go back and reflect a few days later. Please note that, due to time constraints, Kevin is not able to write up a summary of your call. We advise that you get your assistant to transcribe the call once you’re finished.
If you want someone to join the call you can invite one other team member – be it a colleague, a business partner or your spouse.
The two hour Find Your Story session can be intense. So, if you’re feeling overwhelmed after an hour, it’s possible to pause the call and schedule your final hour a few days later.
